First blog post! I'm gearing up for The Steampunk World's Fair in Piscataway, NJ May 15, 16 and 17. Well, I haven't actually heard back from them if I'm in this year or not. I'll keep my fingers crossed for my fourth year there as a vendor! I've got some new wing designs in the works for SPWF this year which involve some light up elements! Very exciting! I'm also planning on wearing my Lady Darth Vader steampunk costume on Saturday (my birthday) and my friend, Grace, will be a Stormtrooper this year! Hopefully, I can get my daughter out in her Princess Leia outfit again!
You can also see a brief glimpse of Evie and I in this Steampunk World's Fair 2014 recap video. We're right after the girl in the green dress who is had just bought my red Fire Fairy Wings! You can also see Jason, me and Zoe behind the Custom Fairy Wings table wearing our Mustache on a sticks and goofing around!
I'm also currently working out the details of two workshops I'll be teaching at D. Thomas Fine Miniatures in Hastings, NY. One workshop will be a Fairy Catching Kit workshop for the kids, and the second workshop will be for adults where we'll make fairy doors! The workshops will be held one in April and one in June. I'll post the links and details once everything is confirmed.
